"The latest news is that my mother has agreed to go to assisted living. The nice thing about this facility is that they have assisted living on the first floor then skilled nursing care on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a primary care physician in the front section of this community and since I needed to get a new doctor for my mother anyway, it all seemed to come together. You were a big help in this process. And yes, the communities/facilities you sent me were helpful too. Many of them contacted me by phone or email and they were very nice. Beaver Hill Village is an active 55+ community of 43 units in a neat, quiet and peaceful manufactured home community.  It has a pastoral and lake setting with the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop.  It is only just west of the University of Virginia, in Western Albemarle county.  It is only a quick drive to the Skyline Drive or Shenandoah Valley.  It is convenient to have I-64 only a few miles from the Village.

 

Beaver Hill is an urban area with all the amenities of subdivision living: public water/sewer, paved and lighted private streets, with all utility hook-ups in place. Snow removal and trash pickup are provided at no cost; plus, there are no association fees.
