Independent Retirement Center is located at 1417 N. Mack Smith Road, East Ridge, Tennessee, approximately 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga and 12 miles from Ringgold, Georgia. We are 3 miles from the nearest hospital and physician’s building and within walking distance to the Cracker Barrel, Bank, Antique Mall and numerous other stores and restaurants.

We have a 135 unit complex; 121 – 634 sq. ft. one bedroom apartments. Living rooms are 12 X 14 or 12 X 16, all with emergency call cords, some with walk in closets. There are also 14 – 312 sq. ft. studio apartments. Bathrooms have tub and shower with safety bars and emergency call cords. Kitchens have a full size refrigerator and pantry. All apartments have wall to wall carpeting, blinds and individually controlled hear and air units. Each resident has two parking spaces with ample parking for guests. We have elevators on each end of the building to accommodate our 2nd floor residents. State of the art fire, security and monitoring systems, with staff on duty 24 ours per day. To accommodate out of town family members and guests we have a fully furnished 1 bedroom rental apartment with complimentary breakfast.
