"I just wanted to give you an update. I choose The Devonshire as a new home for my father. The staff has been wonderful and I'm sure they will make the transition for my father as smooth as possible. They are also helping me make the transition. I worry too much and they have put my mind at ease. This has been a long tough road for me. I know as my father gets older he will have more needs, but I feel so much better that The Devonshire will be there to take care of him. I couldn't have done this without you and A Place for Mom."

"I wanted to let you know that my brother had a meeting at Sherwood Oaks and really liked it and I think my Dad really liked it too. My Dad's girlfriend is pleased as well since it is not too far for her either. So we are going to put him in the independent living portion of it. Thank you so much for your recommendation. I truly believe our search would have taken much longer had you not steered us in the right direction. I know God was looking out for me when I talked with you on the phone. "The latest news is that my mother has agreed to go to assisted living. The nice thing about this facility is that they have assisted living on the first floor then skilled nursing care on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a primary care physician in the front section of this community and since I needed to get a new doctor for my mother anyway, it all seemed to come together. You were a big help in this process. And yes, the communities/facilities you sent me were helpful too. Many of them contacted me by phone or email and they were very nice. Truly, again I want to thank you for being there for me. You were calming and caring as well as being a good listener when I needed one. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have your support."
