Pioneer Manor (R) Retirement Community
Pioneer Manor is a three-story building with lush trees on the west side and pine shrubbery at both entrances. The interior has an elevator, coin laundry and 20 one-bedroom units. Each apartment is approximately 540 square feet with individual heating and cooling, an electric range and a refrigerator. Small pets are accepted. Rent is based upon income and includes utilities.

Pioneer Manor is located near the business district. Local grocery stores are within a one to two block distance of the facility. One grocery store will deliver groceries to the residents on a once a week basis. The City Library, restaurants, department stores, a post office and a hospital are all within a three block area. Across the parking lot is a Senior Center which serves noon meals that can either be delivered to the residents' apartment or the resident may go to the center and enjoy the meal and daily entertainment. Home Health Care, Nurse Aids and Meals on Wheels are also available. The center also has a shuttle bus service that, for a small fee will take the resident anywhere they need to go either in or out of town. Our community room is a wonderful place to enjoy monthly birthday coffee and card games.
