Plum Landing is an independent, not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors that has been in operation since 1962. The community consists of 63 apartments and a 3-bedroom ranch home rented on a month-to-month basis. Each apartment has a balcony or patio with a river view. The six-story structure built along the banks of the Fox River, offers easy access to all the community amenities.

What is the best part of Plum Landing? Residents say it’s the staff. The staff says it’s the residents. Who is right? They both are! Our residents are a diverse group of men and women. They are often described as fiercely independent. They share an understanding that this stage of life can be a good one and life is what you make of it! The average length of service at Plum Landing for our core staff is over 12 years. The experienced and caring staff is the key to trust that equates to a high level of contentment of the residents and their families.
