Under the management of XL Management Company, The Atrium at Georgetown has created a true community with happy active, involved residents. Our company philosophy of “The Touch” is exemplified everyday with our residents and staff.
The Atrium at Georgetown is conveniently located in Dunwoody at Chamblee – Dunwoody Road and 285. We are close to shopping, the medical community of St. Joseph’s and Northside Hospital and physicians offices.
We are an independent living community offering supportive services such as three meals a day, all utilities, weekly housekeeping and linen service, full time bus driver for scheduled transportation and full time activities program. We do however have a full time Home Health Agency on site 24 hours per day 7 days a week to provide any assisted services that our residents may require to age in place. The resident would contract with the agency for services on an individual basis, at a very cost effective rate.
Our activities programs include educational seminars, discussion groups, board games, book clubs, and bridge and poker groups. Arts and crafts, painting classes, quilting bees, religious services, musical entertainment and a hand bell choir, along with group trips are just a few of the activities available to our residents.
Our wellness and fitness programs are provided by Sundance Rehab which include, Water Aerobes, stretching and Thera Band classes, balloon volleyball and dance classes.
Our volunteer group “Senior Serving Senior” are involved in Habitat for Humanity, community food drives, Quilts for the Children’s Hospital, and the “Pink Ladies” of our local hospitals.
Apartments range in size from 450 sq. ft. to 1200 sq. ft.; all have full kitchens with appliances. The styles include a studio, three different styles of one-bedroom, and two styles of two-bedroom units.
