"After a couple of false starts and untold pain and grief, I can now report that my mom moved in to Heritage Pointe today. The journey to this point has taken 15 months, and I am emotionally drained but happy with the outcome. Thank you for the help you have given us. "The latest news is that my mother has agreed to go to assisted living. The nice thing about this facility is that they have assisted living on the first floor then skilled nursing care on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a primary care physician in the front section of this community and since I needed to get a new doctor for my mother anyway, it all seemed to come together. You were a big help in this process. And yes, the communities/facilities you sent me were helpful too. Many of them contacted me by phone or email and they were very nice. Truly, again I want to thank you for being there for me. You were calming and caring as well as being a good listener when I needed one. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have your support."
"Mom is doing fine. She is becoming more familiar with things and is adjusting to the daily schedule that she much needed. This whole transition has been much easier than we had ever anticipated. I tell everyone about what a great service you provide for people with this difficult decision in front of them. Not only did you help us find a suitable place, offer good advice on what to look for when we toured, you also provided an understanding ear at a time when we needed someone the most.
